Hi! I’m Juan, born in Spain, and currently based in Madrid. I’m a sound designer and composer with over 9 years of experience, primarily working as a freelancer for various studios and companies across both interactive and linear media.

I come from a diverse and solid musical background: I studied violin at the conservatory, earned a degree in musicology, and later completed a master’s in Music for Film, TV, and Video Games. It was during my early work in video games that I had the opportunity to try sound design for the first time, and that’s when I realized how exciting it was to craft sounds, just like composing music. I soon realized how closely intertwined the two disciplines are, especially when it comes to evoking particular emotions or atmospheres.

I’ve been a cinephile and gamer for as long as I can remember, and this passion, combined with my love for audio and an ever-present curiosity to explore new sonic worlds, is what led me here. I couldn’t be happier doing what I love.
